Zentangle Tile #105

Hello friends

Today I'd like to share my Zentangle Tile #105. I don't think I've ever done a mono tangled tile before  but I was dealing with a stressful time and this felt very soothing.

Of course, now I think I'd like to add some colour to it! We will see if that happens or not.

Coloured Tile #111

Hello friends

Once I finished yesterday's tile, I thought I'd like to try adding some colour...

I quite like it! Plus, I got to pay with my new Zig Clean Colour Markers, which were a birthday gift from my Mom. They are amazing, although some colours blended better on the Zentangle Tile than others. Gotta love it when an experiment turns out this good.

For comparison, here is yesterday's tile ...

Tangle a Day Calendar 2016, March 25th, 26th and 27th

Hello friends

I really thought I'd do better at keeping up with my Tangle A Day Calendar for 2017 than I did for 2016. But ...  ... ... I still plan on keeping up with it AND finish the 2016 one as well. Today I'd like to share my page from the 2016  Tangle A Day Calendar.

Zentangle Tile #112

Hello friends

I know - it's been quiet on this blog for awhile. I have actually had some improvement in my RA pain and mobility, so I have been able to get more done which means less time for crafting. Recently I spent several days in the hospital, sitting with my Dad. I took my Zentangle with me, which really helped me remain calm and relaxed during a very stressful and sad time.

Now that the weather is nicer, I've also been sitting outside and doing Zentangle. Today I'd like to share my Zenetangle Tile #112.

I have always done my own strings, but I took 5 tiles and pencilled strings from Tangle Patterns. This one is String #244, by Debra Sweeting. It was quite a departure for me - such an unusual string. When I looked at it, I knew I wanted to put Fassett in the 'triangle' areas and the tile just grew from there.

Fassett
